The official web site of the Franklin Science and Technology Fair in Franklin County, PA

Special awards totaling approximately $8000 in cash will be available to deserving entries in the 2008 science fair. Please note carefully that, in the Junior and Senior divisions, only individual (one-person) entries are eligible for most special awards. (In the Primary and Intermediate divisions, all entries are eligible for special awards.)

Students in grades 5-8 are eligible for awards from the Middle School Program conducted by Society for Science & the Public. This program replaces the popular Young Scientist Challenge formerly conducted by the Discovery Channel. Like its predecessor, this is a nationwide competition.

We expect to award and nominate approximately 35 students from grades 5-8 for the first round in this nationwide competition.
